PMS Monday: Who's Got The Button?

Happy Monday!! It's Christi welcoming you to another Paper Makeup Monday Challenge!! This week the wonderful Dawn Knight is this week's design team challenger and her challenge is to use buttons!! I am on a button kick right now so this challenge was perfect for me...Yes, this is me and my husband on our one year anniversary. I can't believe how *ahem* healthy we looked! LOL :) I thought I would keep it simple and only use one button on my creation but not everyone went this route. Check out these button-crazed creations from the design team...

Lisa Kind
Lisa McKinney
Dawn Barrett
Shaela Odd
Dawn Knight
Tangii Crane
Dawn Wheeler
Kim Stewart
Tina Hale
Use as many or as few as you want but there must be a button on your creation somewhere. Easy peasy right? I hope everyone can play along with us this week! You never know when we might give away some candy to one of our participants so play along! If you do not have PMS stamps don't worry about it-just use what you have!! If you do have PMS why not show it off!!

Please link up a direct link to your creation to Mr. Linky below (if Mr. Linky happens to not be there for one reason or another just post a link in the comments section). If you upload to SCS/PCP please use keyword PMSMC19 so we can see all of your creations there as well!!

Happy Stamping!!

Fun things to make with DIGIS

Ok, so i know i've been promising you a fun post! I hope this is good enough!

Since PMS has recently released a line of Digi stamps... i wanted to go into a little bit of detail of why digis can be a lot of fun (more than just instant gratification, no shipping costs, less cost per image and no storage space needed other than on your computer)

Digital Stamps offer more modification choices than standard rubber stamps do. This biggest one being that you can RESIZE! Image, the skies the limit! You can make a wordart small to accompany a photo...

Or larger to make it the main focus of a card...

Or you can make it much larger for altered projects like below!

Here this quote was printed to about 5x7 to put on this 8.5x11 wooden wall plaque

And here it's bee printed slightly larger than you might for a card to put on the front of this family scrapbook!

And wordart isnt the only thing you might want to enlarge... Check out this coloring book that I made for a friends little girl using the fairies! The book cover is 8.5x12 so the fairy image on the front was still needing to be larger to accomodate the cover size, and then the inside pages are 8.5 x 11... nice and large for a 5 year old to color!

But you also dont always have to resize large! Sometime you might want to take an image and make it smaller to create a background! Like Kim did here!

So now that you've seen some resizing things you can do... how about seeing some of the OTHER fun things you can do! This is perfect for scrapbookers! You can either use these super quick and easy on a digital scrapbook page (sorry i didnt get my sample done on that! WOOPS! I'll show you that later this week!) But you can also do some other neat things.... like......

Use the images directly over your photos! For this particular sample, Shaela printed it on a transparency to lay over her photo, but using the PNG file (recently added to the site, if you only received the jpeg and would also like the PNG file, just shoot me and email and i'll get it to ya lickety split), you can just put the wordart right across your photo before you print!!!! Notice also that shaela enlarged the images from the raindrops and rainbows set to be large enough for her scrapbook layout! I totally {heart} this layout!

But wait... there is more! You can also easily separate the wordart. Now yes, you can do this with rubber stamps by masking, but there is always the fear of goofy ink mistakes... you can be sure that will never happen with digi printed stamps! here again shaela has printed on a transparency... but it just makes for a cute cute effect. You could have the same separation on any cardstock or paper you choose.

Now this that doesnt make you want to give digi's a shot... i dont know what will?! :)
