Thursday Design Team Showoff

The new blog is still a work in progress... i know some things still arent lining up right. You're actually supposed to see the whole swirlie tree, not just the top of it. *sigh* I'll get it figured out. But let's have some fun eye candy with some of the design teams creations instead! :)

First up we have Lisa McKinney. This weeks challenge is HER color challenge! But she was only getting back in town on Monday! So her card wasnt able to go up in time for the post but you HAVE to see it! It's so cute!

Now look at this cute from Meli Mitchell. Love the added dimension!!!!

Next up is Mindy Baxter. I about died when i saw this cutie on her blog this morning! A pink Dino... with cupcakes stacked on up his back! ACK! And more dimension.. so fun.

Shaela and I both have a penchant for word art! I think that this is one of the main reasons she's just SO good at using the quote stamps!!!

Here's tangii's little cutie using Ashlie. Love her!!!!

And I hope you arent on overload with all these fabby creations! Cause there is still more... Look at this ferious REX card by Tina Hale!

And one more dino for you! This is the dino card that I made for Dustin...

So thats what we have for ya today!!! Fun fun huh?! I love this design team. :)

OMG did you SEEEEE?

We haven't had a true OMG did you SEE day in weeks! Each week something else has come up and i've needed to steal the wednesday post away from OMG. Well today we are back to OMG!!!! :)

Today's OMG post is actually from a design team member. I just love how people are using multiple fairies on their projects! 2 other design members have done this recently as well and i love it, but those projects have been shown on the blog already. :) But you can see them here... Dawn Wheeler.... Dawn Barrett's card was in the color challenge post yesterday.

So here it is... the project that made my jaw drop this week... by Mindy Baxter

Isnt this a fun project!!! I just love all the layers and dimension on the card and 4 fairies plus a sentiment from the fairy sentiments set?! I think she wins the prize for getting the most out of her stamps in one project!

Meet n Greet Tuesday with Kim Stewart

Hiya Everyone! It's time for another Meet n Greet Tuesday!!! Today we are "meeting" design team member, Kim Stewart!

And here's the same question we always ask! :)

When did you start stamping?
At my first SU workshop in January 07. My neighbor invited me, and then introduced me to Splitcoaststampers and I was hooked immediately.

What first drew you to PMS?
Katie of course! We met on the Bellaholics yahoo group and had a fun sister swap round where we got to know each other better. I was so excited to hear her dream was coming true of starting her own stamp line. When I saw her first stamps, I immediately fell in love and have had so much fun making cards and especially altering items with them.

What's your favorite color combo?
I don’t have a fave – I love all of SU colors especially Perfect Plum and Old Olive.

What else do you like to do?
Scrapbooking – I’m trying to learn digital as my paper scrappin’ is way behind and I love being on the computer. I also enjoy spending time with my incredible husband and two sweet boys. We love anything outdoors – right now the swimming pool and lake is where we are on the weekends.

Where do you get inspiration from?
Splitcoaststampers is the best, and all the blogs I have on my Google Reader (after seeing them post creations on SCS).

What's on your ipod?
My favorite songs from the 80’s, and my fave country singers: Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Sugarland, and Darius Rucker to name just a few

And some of Kim's amazing creations that you might not have seen (unless you follow her blog, which you should! ;) )

PMS Monday Summer Hues

Happy Monday and welcome to another Paper Makeup Monday Challenge! This week's challenge comes from the extremely talented Lisa McKinney and her challenge comes with a little message..."When it comes to inspiration sometimes the best place to go is the paint aisle in any Home Improvement store! I'm always snagging paint chips to save for the days when I need to jump start my mojo. My Color Inspiration challenge this week comes from two of my most favorite paint chips currently in my possession: Watermelon Slice and Apple Green!

I took a picture for you of what they look like in natural light.

Your challenge this week is to make a card using these two shades and black and/or white. I had some unexpected company this weekend making stamping impossible so my sample will be coming soon but the design team rocked this challenge! Check it out...

Tina Hale Kim Stewart

Jamie Morris

Dawn Wheeler

Dawn Barrett

Katie Cotton

Aren't they fantastic?! That should definitely get your creative juices flowing! :) Please remember that you do not have to use Paper Makeup stamps for this challenge but if you've got them we'd love to see you showing them off! Please use Mr. Linky to upload your creation to this post and if you upload to SCS/PCP please use keyword PMSMC12 so we can see your creations there as well.

Happy Stamping!!

a very very late sunday showoff!

Well it isnt midnight yet so it's still sunday! I'm SO very very sorry for this post going up so late! I dont know where my head was today. Ok, well i do know. Today i went to Kayleigh Anne Freeman's memorial service. So to say that my brain is a little out of sorts while my heart aches for this family is putting it mildly! But it was a beautiful service CELEBRATING HER LIFE not mourning her death.

But on to much more happiness (because i fully get happiness from sparkles!) here is your sunday showoff of "puttin on the glitz"!
