Makeup Artist Spotlight

This week we are Spotlighting Makeup Artist Bonnie Sharp (The Lucky Clucker). You simply must read her "interview', you'll learn a little something about her that'll bring a happy tear to your eye and a flutter to your heart!

This is Bonnie's favorite PMS creation. She says she has several birdhouses around her farm, so this set has a special place with her. The bird houses & sentiment are from our Home Matters set.

I went flipping through Bonnie's blog and found a favorite card of my own. Now CAS cards for me are a HUGE struggle, so I truely appreciate a well made one. I LOVE the red on this card, and the ribbon is just fabulous! Though I do have to say that the sentiment is also one of my favorite parts!! The sentiment and image are from the Kiss & Makeup set.

1. When did you get started stamping? I started stamping about 4 years ago. Myniece utterly MADE me scrap a family picture for my MIL's Christmasalbum......"No way!" I said snickering - "I don't cut andpaste!" Well, at the threat of being left out of the Family album(EEK!),.......I did cut and paste and as they say.....the rest is history....Islowly migrated to card making and that is that......

2. Tell me 5 songs or artists on your iPod right now. What's an iPod? No really, theclosest I've ever gotten to anything that resembled an ipod was thelittle onesie that my granddaughter has that says "iPood"!!

3. All Stylists have a go to accessory or tool... what's yours? Okay.......now I seriously have anaddiction to dies......embossing dies, cutting dies......anything that can go throughmy Cuttlebug - Oh that's another one--my Cuttlebug - I might sit in a cornerand cry if I didn't have my Cuttlebug.

4. What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? Orange Sherbet handsdown.......although Maple Walnut was my dad's favorite so that runs a closesecond...

5. Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from magazines and theblogs......I cruise every blog trying to find a great layout or colour combo!

6. Do you have a favorite technique or style? See #3 - honestly - my favoritetechnique is using my dies or folders.....not sure if that qualifiesas technique, but that is what I am into....and I collect them regularly -you make 'em I buy 'em!

7. What is your favorite color palette? Kraft, turquoise, white.......you willsee turquoise (specifically Papertrey Ink's Hawaiian Shores cardstock) in a lotof my creations.

8. When your 'mojo' takes a spa day without you, what gets your creative juices flowing again? Oh yes.....there are days when my Mojois a no-show. It really sucks but when I am really stuck...I CASEsomebody's card - I find if I do this I can get right back into "it"because I put my own spin on it and then I'm back! yay!

9. When you aren't stamping, what do you like to do? When I am not stamping? What does thatmean? No really, I am so fortunate to have a husband that has his own expensivehobbies, so I get to stamp non-stop.....Well, on Wednesday nights I golf...Ilove to golf and I do go in the odd tournament...I'm not great, but I love it -hey that sounds like stamping!!

10. Tell us something, not stamping related, about you... Something not stamping related.......Some ofyou may know this but I will tell you anyway..... It will be 15 years thisOctober that I had my liver transplant. I am the luckiest girl alive and Ithank God everyday for that family that had to make that heart-wrenchingdecision to donate their loved ones organs.

On a lighter note, that is the"Lucky" part of why my blog is called "The LuckyClucker".....and we have 12,000 hens that we hand gather eggs from everyday - that is the "Clucker"!!

That's all I've got for Bonnie for now. You can leave a comment for her here, or head on over to her blog The Lucky Clucker and say "hey" there! Thanks for stopping in.
