Hello everyone! I switching out today's regualrly scheduled post for something far more important! Recently i came across a
blog about a little baby girl, her struggle for life, and her family's struggle to stay afload thru it all. It struck a cord with me personally for many many reasons. Then, a cry from a dear friend asked for help. I knew immediately this was something I wanted to do. Something that I wanted to help others to do. I called up Diem (the illustrator for the Beautiful Day Fairies collection and asked how fast she could draw me up a new stamp. She loved the idea and we chatted a bit about what we wanted and today I can present to you...
A Fairy for Kayleigh
You can purchase this digi stamp
HEREShortly before writing this post, I saw that
Modern Sugar Blvd is also doing a few digi stamps that the proceeds all go to Kayleigh's family. Their Sweetnilla and Precious Prayer stamps can be found
here and
hereIn addition to helping this family... anyone who creates a card using ANY of these stamps (they do not just have to be the PMS stamps!) can link up their post here on MR Linky. You have until May 30th and then on May 31st I will draw 1 lucky winner to receive a $25 gift certificate towards any stamp purchase in the PMS store.
Katie! This is such a beautiful stamp! I love the way she looks like an angel. I am familiar with Kayleigh's story. The family is blessed to have such wonderful company owners donating to them and being so thoughtful. Thank you, I will spread the word on SCS!
ReplyDeleteThis stamp is amazing and what an awesome cause!
ReplyDeleteHere's the link to SCS if anyone wants to keep it bumped:

Diem did such a beautiful job, I can't stop thinking of this fairy and Kayleigh.
What a fantastic idea, and what a fitting stamp!
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome! Thank you for your caring heart. I'm off to buy this beautiful stamp now! God bless!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is really beautiful! I ordered it, can't wait to get it. Diem did a beautiful job. What a wonderful thing this is and I'm excited that MSB is helping in the effort for this sweet little girl.
ReplyDeleteWow Katie, this is amazing. What a great way to help and encourage someone in need. Thanks for doing this.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm sad. :( SCS took off my thread but I don't know why! If people can announce sales of other companies (Michaels, JA's, etc.) I am a little confused as to why my thread was removed. I'm sorry girls, that link is invalid. I'm going to contact one of the mods to see where I could post it.

posted on my blog and linked the card - I hope lots of people will help out!!
ReplyDeleteGood grief! I couldn't get past the LONG list of procedures this poor baby has had. I cant see through tears.I'll be posting about this on Saturday after I make a few cards :D Thanks for raising awareness and $ for the family. I am just balling my eyes out here for all they must be feeling. Life is so unfair sometimes. Iknow there is a reason for everything, but somethings I just dont understand :C
ReplyDeleteKatie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful stamp and a generous thing for your company to do. As you know, I have purchased the stamp and posted a card on my blog.
Unfortunately, I saw where Sweet Kayleigh passed away at 9:44 PM last night. I cannot even imagine what this family is going through!!
I posted my card for the family on my blog today. SO sad.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to the family during their diffucult time. This is such a wonderful thing you are doing. My card will post in the am.
